Regular grooming is very important for the health and wellbeing of any dog and is essential in maintaining hygiene and comfort. Most breeds will require full grooming about once every four to six weeks. Dogs groomed regularly will find the process far less stressful as it is an easier process and they will be comfortable in their environment. As a fully qualified professional, I am trained to understand and be able to achieve breed standard trims on each dog. However, breed standard is not always practical nor desired for a dog who spends its life swimming in rivers or snuggled up under the duvet – it may also not be achievable if the grooming routine at home is minimal. There are lots of styling options that we can offer to each individual dog and owner that can be pleasing to the eye, easier to maintain in between grooming appointments and more comfortable for the dog.
I would recommend introducing your puppy to grooming as soon as possible so it becomes part of their normal routine.
I offer special puppy introductory sessions starting with just a short visit to introduce the puppy to the salon. Please contact me for more details.
In order to give your dog individual attention, I run a strict appointment system. I would ask all clients to stick to their agreed drop off and collection times in order I can give all the dogs the appropriate attention required,
I am fully insured for all dogs in my care. As a member of the British Isles Grooming Association, ICMG UK & The Groomer Spotlight, I subscribe to a strict code of conduct. More information can be found at ICMG UK
